Typical Sunday
Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week. It’s a nice way to fill your cup back up. It’s a day of rest…well it’s supposed to be a day of rest and it is for some people. But it always goes by too fast.
I thought this would be a fun and laid back type of blog to show you all what a typical summer Sunday looks like.
I’m a morning person so I like to wake up early…yes, even on the weekends!
7am: Wake up, shower, get ready for the day.
7:30am: You know I’m all about getting my coffee started!
8:30ish: We head to the church for Sunday service.
9am: Church starts (I took this picture before service started…more people showed up!)
11am: Slow pitch games. A great way to spend the Sunday afternoon.
“Let’s go babe!!!”
1pm: After slow pitch games we usually grab lunch or stuff for lunch and go grocery shopping.
Look, a full fridge!
Now it’s time to relax for a little bit inside and watch the Cardinals!
I’m an organizer and like to be prepared so Sundays are usually a good day to prepare for the week ahead and see what’s on my schedule!
Grilling is one of my favorite things to do in the summer time, especially on a relaxing Sunday!
The evening starts winding down and we all start become cuddly and lazy again.
The day comes to an end. Kane and I prepare ourselves for bed, read our Bibles and dive into our devotions.
My Sundays may not seem so excited to you (or it might…I don’t know), but I seem to enjoy it a lot.
Lately our weekends have been filling up drastically with events, house work, yard work, running errands and it can get exhausting and busy all at the same time. So Sundays are a good way to refresh, connect, rest, not rush things, enjoying the small things in life and just being present.
What’s your favorite thing to do on a Sunday?
